Laminate flooring has been one of the most popular options for floor coverings for some time now. In more recent times, the designs and construction of laminate floors have come on leaps and bounds. This means customers are able to have ultra-realistic, yet high performing floors, at an affordable price.

Laminate Flooring is made from HDF (High-Density Fibreboard). Fibres are compressed together with the use of resins and glue to create an HDF board. HDF is a sustainable product and the perfect way to recycle waste from unwanted timber. Advantages of HDF is that it’s a stable (little or no seasonal movement), and it is extremely hard-wearing.  A high-definition photo layer is then applied to the HDF board and then finished with a tough melamine wear layer. This allows manufacturers to get creative and produce different floor covering effects, such as wood and stone.

All laminate floors come with click profiles, making them a perfect choice for DIY’ers to install with ease.
