New Job Position of Northwest Floors

We have a new job opportunity to join our team here at Northwest Floors. Our online and showroom business has gown significantly in the last 12-18 month and we are now in position to add another member to our team. 

What is the Job?

The job will involve a range of customer facing task including taking calls, taking orders, dealing with customers in our showroom, answering questions and giving relevant advice. The successful candidate will also be expected to liaise with a network suppliers, distributors and floor fitters to ensure the smooth running of processes from order to delivery and installation. Use of our online systems for tasks such as product entry and email communications will be expected. The role will also include warehouse tasks such as stock checking, organization and preparation of pallets and samples for delivery.

Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hard working and eager to learn.  Some previous experience in a customer facing role is desirable but not essential. Candidates must be proficient in english language, basic IT skills and able to complete physical aspects of the job. It would be ideal if the candidate holds a valid UK driving license but this is not essential. 

What are the hours?

The position is full time, 5 days a week. Some Saturday work (half-day) may be required each month, as we are open 6 days a week. In the first three weeks we would require 3-4 days a week, starting at 9:00am, finishing at 5:30pm for the initial training period. Full time hours will start after three weeks. 

What is the pay?

The hourly pay will start just above minimum wage. This will be reviewed annually and there may be scope for promotion and pay increases over time.
